The National Progressive Schools’ Conference (N.P.S.C.)

The National Progressive Schools Committee is a forty year old association of Senior Secondary Schools across the country and has 150 leading private schools under its umbrella. The N.P.S.C. started in 1973. All the member schools of the National Progressive Schools’ Conference are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Known for its collaborative work in teaching learning practices of policy making, scholastic and co-scholastic initiatives and reforms in education the Executive member Principals and other members of the N.P.S.C. work in collaboration with Government organizations i.e. the National Council of Educational Research and Training, the National University of Educational Planning and Administration, the Indian Institutes of Management and the Indian Institutes of Technology in an effort to bring about qualitative changes in education.

We have strengthened our partnerships with a variety of International agencies which range from the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, British Council, the Italian Culture centre, the Cervantes Institute, Max Muller Bhawan, several Embassies and Consulates, the Centre of Information Technology, State Government enterprises and many others. Executive Committee & General Body Meeting

Dear friends,

As discussed in the General Body Meeting on 30th October 2014 at Springdales School, Pusa Road and unanimously passed that the NPSC monthly meeting for the month of November would be a special meeting i.e. the interactive dialogue with His Holiness, the Dalai Lama.  

There will be no further meeting of the NPSC in the month of November 2014.
The next meeting will take place on Wednesday 17th December 2014 at Delhi Public School, B Block, Phase 1, Sushant Lok, Gurgaon, Principal -  Dr. Ruchi Seth.
